After a fire ravaged an adjacent home, the YMCA purchased the property and retained Hoschler- Graziosi Architects to convert the existing 2-1/2 story wood structure into usable office space with a food pantry that serves local residents in need. Since the existing home was located in a residential zone (as well as it being a wood structure), a fire sprinkler system was required along with fire construction upgrades to the entire structure. The church was in dire need of refurbishment – which included new roofing, woodwork repairs, painting and staining, as well as converting the existing pendant lights to LED.
